Setting up Lead System Fields

Setup system fields to denote important lead fields within your Record Type. These are used for templates, calling, and emailing

System fields are very important. These are used when you wish to pull leads, click-to-dial, send text messages, send emails or create email templates. 

Configuring System Fields

Setting a System Field

System Field - A drop-down is available to select system fields. These are special fields used to denote important fields of information. These fields can be used in things like Email Templates, sending emails, conducting outbound dialing, screen pops, etc. It is best practice to try and use as many of these system fields as possible as they drive functionality in other parts of ClickPoint or RingResponse.

  • Custom Field - This comprises likely 90% of your fields of information. This is used to denote general field data you wish to collect on your leads. 

  • Other - This system field is to denote a special data not specified in the other system fields. 

  • FirstName - Used to denote the First Name of your lead. 

  • LastName - Used to denote the Last Name of your lead. 

  • Name - Used to denote the First Name and Last Name of your lead. This system field does not group together First Name and Last Name system fields if specified. This is something likely posted by your lead source provider or if you are importing leads. Only one field can be specified and this can be used as Tags in things like Email Templates. 

  • Email - Used to denote the Email of your lead. This is required if you wish to send emails or Email Templates. 

  • Phone - Used to denote the primary phone of your leads. This field is one of the most important system fields in ClickPoint. It is required if you wish to utilize things like Click-to-Dial, Pull or Screen Pops. 

  • Address - The street address for your lead. This is used are part of the geolocation lookup for the map within the Lead Details Screen.

  • City - The city in which your lead resides. This is used are part of the geolocation lookup for the map within the Lead Details Screen.

  • State - The state in which your lead resides. You can also use this field as a Residential State field should you wish to utilize this as a criteria in your Pull Distribution Strategies. This is used are part of the geolocation lookup for the map within the Lead Details Screen as well as State Criteria.

  • PropertyState - The property state in which your lead resides. You can also use this field as a Property State field should you wish to utilize this as a criteria in your Pull Distribution Strategies. 

  • Zip - The zip code where your lead resides. This is used are part of the geolocation lookup for the map within the Lead Details Screen.

  • JobTitle - Used to denote the job title of your lead. 

  • PullDelay - Post in either a UTC time which is used to delay when a lead could be pulled via Pull Distribution until a specific time or an integer value that denotes how many minutes must elapse before a lead could be pulled.
