Efficiently updating lead information is crucial for maintaining an organized and effective sales process. The SalesExec Screen provides several tools to quickly and accurately update lead details, ensuring your team can respond promptly to prospects.
Key Functionality
Quick Edit: Edit lead fields directly from the main table without opening the lead details.
Add Notes: Attach notes to leads to document interactions and important information.
Add Appointments: Schedule follow-up appointments and reminders for leads.
Call Leads: Initiate calls directly from the SalesExec Screen using integrated dialing tools.
Return Leads: Remove leads from ClickPoint when necessary, ensuring proper lead lifecycle management.
Edit Pipeline: Update pipeline information to reflect the current status and progress of a lead.
Close Leads: Manually close leads to mark the end of the sales process.

How to Use This Feature
Update a Lead – Quickly update a lead by highlighting the lead, either by marking the check mark box or clicking in the lead line.
To perform a bulk edit, hold down the "Shift" key while making your selections.
Update button is available when a lead is selected.
Select the Update icon located on the column header above the leads, or by clicking the small pencil icon located to the far left of the lead information.

Once a lead is opened and being viewed you can also edit fields in the lead detail information, some may not be editable, and this will be customer specific.

Update Options
There are several functions to Update. The purpose of these Updates are to quickly update a lead without opening the lead.
Quick Edit – if a field is enabled to ‘Quick Edit’ you can edit a lead, this is managed in Setup – Create Lead Fields
Call – click to dial for calling a lead
Add Notes – add new notes to lead
View Notes – view all notes associated with the lead
Add Appointment – add an appointment for the lead to your calendar
Return – removes the lead from ClickPoint, only use if instructed to do so
Edit Pipeline – update pipeline information for a lead
Close – manually closes a lead
Best Practices
Regular Updates: Consistently update lead information to maintain accurate records.
Detailed Notes: Provide comprehensive notes to document all interactions and decisions.
Timely Follow-Ups: Schedule appointments promptly to ensure timely follow-ups with leads.
Proper Lead Closure: Close leads appropriately to reflect the current status in the sales pipeline.
Troubleshooting
Unable to Edit Fields: Check with your administrator to ensure the fields are enabled for editing.
Missing Update Options: Verify that you have the necessary permissions to perform the desired actions.
Issues with Call Functionality: Ensure that your browser allows pop-ups and that your phone integration is properly configured.
