Overview

The Pull Report by Time in SalesExec shows how many leads were pulled from pull distribution queues during specific time windows. This helps managers understand when users are actively engaging with pull queues throughout the day, spot peak pull activity hours, and balance staffing or strategy based on actual usage patterns.

Why is this important?

Key Functionality

  • Hourly Pull Breakdown
Displays the number of leads pulled in each hour segment within the selected date range.

  • User / Team Segmentation
Allows you to see which users or teams are pulling leads at what times.

  • Date Range Filters
Specify exact periods to focus on particular days, weeks, or custom time spans.

  • Lead Type / Source Filters
Optionally segment results by record type, lead source, or campaign to see patterns for different categories.

  • Performance Insights
Helps identify peak pull activity, slow hours, or periods of inactivity.

  • Exportable Output
You can export the report results for offline analysis or planning.

How to Use This Feature

  1. Log into SalesExec and open the Reports section.

  2. Select Pull Report by Time.

  3. Choose your desired date range to analyze.

  4. (Optional) Apply filters such as:

    • Specific user or team

    • Record type

    • Lead source or campaign

  5. Run the report. It will display a table with each row as a time bucket (e.g., 8am–9am, 9am–10am, etc.) and columns showing:

    • Total leads pulled in that time span

    • Breakdown by user or team if filters are applied

  6. Review the output to determine which times of day produce the most pull activity.

Formula
Date the salesperson starts to pull their first lead and the date the salesperson pulls their last lead.

Best Practices

  • Run this report weekly or monthly to get a sense of overall team rhythm and activity peaks.

  • Use it to align staffing schedules with peak pull times so your team is available when activity is highest.

  • Compare pull times with lead arrival patterns so lead availability matches your team’s schedule.

  • Slice this report by record type or campaign to see if certain categories have different peak pull hours.

  • Use exportable results to track trends over time and present them in team performance reviews.

Troubleshooting

  • Report shows zero pulls for a period where activity should exist
→ Confirm your date range and filters are correct; expand the range or remove filters to capture more data.

  • Pull counts seem unusually low
→ Review distribution criteria — overly narrow rules can reduce lead queue availability.

  • Data appears skewed toward certain hours
→ Verify user schedules and timezone settings — high pull counts in odd hours might reflect misconfiguration.

  • Exported report does not match on-screen data
→ Ensure the same date range and filters are applied before exporting.

  • Some users don’t show up in results
→ Confirm that users were eligible to pull leads in the selected period and that they were included in the pull recipient list.
