Automated lead distribution takes the guesswork out of who on your sales team should be working what leads. There are two main different types of distributions you can leverage:

Push

Push distributions should be used when you want new leads to be directly assigned to users, prioritizing lead ownership. With Push distributions, you can set criteria to define which leads should be distributed. You can also choose between RoundRobin and Weighted distribution methods.

Instructions for creating Push distributions can be found here.

Pull

Pull distributions should be used when you want to prioritize speed-to-contact and encourage efficiency within your sales team. Rather than leads being directly assigned to users, leads are pulled on-demand by users.

Similar to Push distributions, you can set criteria to define which leads qualify for the Pull distribution. You can also specify when leads can be pulled.

Leads worked through Pull can also be subject to Pull Release Timers set in the Workflow, allowing you to create calling cadences

Instructions for creating Pull distributions can be found here.
